§ 47-7-213 — Application to nonresidents, unlicensed drivers,

unregistered vehicles and accidents in other states. A. In case the driver or the owner of a vehicle subject to registration under the laws of this state involved in an accident within this state has no driver license in this state, then the driver shall be denied a driver license until he or she has complied with the requirements of this chapter to the same extent that would be necessary if, at the time of the accident, he or she had held a driver license in this state. B. When a nonresident's driving privilege is suspended pursuant to Section 7-206 of this title, the Department of Public Safety, in conjunction with Service Oklahoma, shall transmit a copy of the record of the action to the official in charge of the issuance of driver licenses in the state in which the nonresident resides. C. Upon receipt of a copy of a record from another state that the driving privilege of a resident of this state has been suspended or revoked in the other state for failure to deposit security for the payment of judgments arising out of a motor vehicle accident, or for failure to give and maintain proof of financial responsibility, under circumstances which would require Service Oklahoma to suspend the driving privilege of the person had the accident occurred in this state, Service Oklahoma shall suspend the driving privilege of the resident if he or she was the driver determined to be at fault in the accident. The suspension shall continue until the resident furnishes evidence of his or her compliance with the law of the other state relating to the deposit of such security or files proof of financial responsibility.
