Text

A.No motor vehicle liability policy shall be considered effective to provide any exemption under Section 7-203 of this title unless; 1. The policy is issued by an insurance company authorized to do business in this state, except as provided in subsection B of this section; and 2. The policy provides, if the accident has resulted in bodily injury or death or property injury or destruction, exclusive of interest and costs, not less than minimum liability insurance limits.
B.No motor vehicle liability policy shall be considered effective to provide any exemption under Section 7-203 of this title with respect to any vehicle which was not registered in this state at the effective date of the policy or the most recent renewal thereof, unless the insurance company issuing the policy is authoriz
