Text

In addition to all other duties as provided by law, it is hereby declared to be, and shall be the duty of all sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, district attorneys, enforcement officers appointed by the Corporation Commission of the State of Oklahoma, and all highway patrolmen within the State of Oklahoma: 1. To enforce the provisions of Sections 180 through 180m of this title or the Motor Carrier Act of 1995; 2. To apprehend and detain any motor vehicle or vehicles and driver or operator and their aides who are operating any motor vehicle, upon or along the highways of this state, for a reasonable length of time, for the purpose of investigating and determining whether such vehicle is being operated in violation of any of the provisions of Sections 180 through 180m of this title or the Motor Carr
