The Corporation Commission is authorized to promulgate rules necessary to enable this state to participate in the Unified Carrier Registration System for interstate motor carriers, brokers, forwarders and leasing companies and interstate motor carriers holding intrastate authority as set forth in the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU), Subtitle C-Unified Carrier Registration Act of 2005.
