Text

The Department of Transportation is authorized to enter into agreements with governmental entities outside this state for the issuance of regional and national oversize and overweight permits for single-trip nondivisible loads. The Executive Director of the Department of Transportation shall adopt rules necessary to implement the agreements and shall issue multi-state permits for single-trip nondivisible loads in accordance with the terms of the agreements and shall receive and remit permit fees from a Department of Transportation special account in accordance with the agreements and state law.
