Text

A.Any person, firm or corporation owning or possessing a commercial vehicle who: 1. Is a resident of the United States; 2. Is required to register the vehicle under the laws of this state; 3. Is not authorized to drive the vehicle on the public roads of this state for lack of registration or reciprocity of this state’s laws with the laws of the state in which the vehicle is registered; and 4. Operates the vehicle for commercial purposes; may receive a temporary permit from the Corporation Commission. The permit shall be recognized in lieu of registration in this state. The permit shall indicate the time and date of its issuance and shall be valid for a period not to exceed seventy-two (72) hours from such indicated time.
B.A fee of Twelve Dollars ($12.00) shall be charged for the issuanc
