manufacture, sale or distribution prohibited - Exemption.

A.As used in this section: 1. "Jammer" means any instrument, device, or equipment designed or intended for use with a vehicle or otherwise to jam or interfere with in any manner a speed measuring device operated by a law enforcement officer in the vicinity; and 2. "Speed measuring device" shall include, but is not limited to, devices commonly known as radar speed meters or laser speed meters.
B.It shall be unlawful for any person to use or possess a jammer.
C.It shall be unlawful to manufacture, advertise or offer for sale, sell or otherwise distribute any jammer in this state.
D.This section shall not apply to any person who lawfully possesses a license issued by the Federal Communications Commission for the use of a jammer.
