legislation. In addition to its other powers, the Oklahoma Mining Commission is authorized and directed, within the limits of funds available to it, to engage in a continuing study of the mining laws of this state, and of changes therein required in order to carry out to the greatest practicable extent the policies, goals, objectives and recommendations of the Commission, and to make recommendations and prepare proposed legislation for such purposes. Such recommendations and proposed legislation shall, as they are completed, be filed with the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
