§ 43A-3-426 — Fees and costs - Payment.

A.If treatment is provided by an approved treatment facility to a consumer admitted under the provisions of this act and the consumer has not paid the fees charged for such treatment, the approved treatment facility is entitled to any payment received: 1. By the consumer to which he is entitled because of the services rendered; and 2. From any public or private source available to the facility because of the treatment provided to the consumer.
B.A consumer admitted to an approved treatment facility under the provisions of this act, the estate of the consumer or a person obligated by law to pay for the treatment of the consumer, and financially able to do so, is liable to the approved treatment facility for the cost of maintenance and treatment of the consumer in the facility in accordanc
