A.The Board of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services shall promulgate rules and standards for certification of a facility or organization that desires to be certified as a “Mental Illness Service Program”.
B.Applications for certification as a mental illness service program shall be made to the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services on prescribed forms. The Board, or the Commissioner of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services upon delegation by the Board, may certify mental illness service programs for a period of three (3) years, subject to renewal as provided in the rules promulgated by the Board.
C.The Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services is authorized to establish and collect certification and renewal fees for certification of mental ill
