Text

REGISTRATION FOR EMPLOYMENT. The unemployed individual must register for work within seven (7) days of filing his or her initial claim for unemployment benefits in accordance with such rules as the Commission may prescribe, except that the Commission may waive the requirements of this section as to individuals attached to regular jobs, situations involving mass layoffs, or individuals in areas not served by an established employment office or Internet service when it finds that compliance with these requirements would be oppressive, or would be inconsistent with the purpose of the Employment Security Act of 1980.
