sections - Penalty for violations - Prohibition of use of scaffolds, etc. Any contractor or other person having charge of the erection, construction, repairing, alteration, removal or painting of any building, bridge, viaduct, steel tank, standpipe or other structure, within the provisions of the three preceding sections, shall comply with the terms thereof, and any such contractor or other person violating any of the provisions of the three preceding sections shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), or imprisoned for not less than thirty (30) days nor more than one (1) year, or both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the Court.
