As used in the Health Savings Account Act: 1. “High deductible health plan” means a health plan which meets the requirements of Section 223(c)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code as added by Section 1201 of the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003, P.L. 108-173; and 2. “State-mandated health benefits” means coverage for health care services or benefits, required by state law or state regulations, requiring the reimbursement or utilization related to a specific illness, injury, or condition of the covered person, or inclusion of a specific category of licensed health care practitioner to be provided to the covered person in a health benefit plan for a health-related condition of a covered person.
