Text

A.Except as provided in subsection B of this section, the Uniform Health Carrier External Review Act shall apply to all health carriers.
B.The provisions of the Uniform Health Carrier External Review Act shall not apply to a policy or certificate that provides coverage only for a specified disease, specified accident or accident-only coverage, credit, dental, disability income, hospital indemnity, long-term care insurance, as defined in Section 4424 of Title 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes, vision care or any other limited supplemental benefit or to a Medicare supplement policy of insurance, as defined in Section 3611.1 of Title 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes, coverage under a plan through Medicare, Medicaid, or the federal employees health benefits program, any coverage issued under Chapter 55
