§ 36-5122 — Requirements for allowance of credit.

A.Credit for reinsurance shall be allowed a domestic ceding insurer as either an asset or a reduction from liability on account of reinsurance ceded only when the reinsurer meets the requirements of subsection B, C, D, E, F, G or H of this section; provided, further, that the Commissioner may adopt by regulation pursuant to subsection B of Section 5124 of this title, specific additional requirements relating to or setting forth the valuation of assets or reserve credits, the amount and forms of security supporting reinsurance arrangements described in subsection B of Section 5124 of this title and the circumstances pursuant to which credit will be reduced or eliminated.
