Text
As used in the Oklahoma Medical Professional Liability Trusts Act: 1. “Allied health care professional” shall mean a physician’s assistant, a certified registered nurse anesthetist or a nurse practitioner who is duly licensed by the appropriate licensing entity of the state and is supervised or employed by a physician and/or health care institution; 2. “Association” shall mean a nonprofit corporation that has been in continuous existence for a period of at least ten (10) years, the purpose of which is to federate into one organization all duly licensed physicians, allied health care professionals and/or health care institutions in this state; 3. “Commissioner” shall mean the Insurance Commissioner; 4. “Department” shall mean the Insurance Department; 5. “Health care institutions” shall mea
