A.Documents, materials or other information in the possession or control of the Insurance Department that are obtained by or disclosed to the Commissioner or any other person in the course of an examination or investigation made pursuant to Section 1637 of this title and all information reported or provided to the Insurance Department pursuant to paragraphs 12 and 13 of subsection B of Section 1633 of this title, Section 1635 of this title, Section 1636 of this title, and Section 1639 of this title are recognized by this state as being proprietary and containing trade secrets and shall be confidential by law and privileged, shall not be subject to open records, or freedom of information, shall not be subject to subpoena, and shall not be subject to discovery or admissible in evidence in a
