military employees. No employer shall require any employee who is retired from a branch of the United States military and has been provided with health coverage through a federal plan to participate in employer- sponsored health insurance coverage if the health insurance coverage requires a contribution from the employee. The employee shall provide to the employer before the beginning of each plan year proof of that coverage.
