§ 3-65.3 — Eminent domain.

In the acquisition of property by eminent domain proceedings authorized by this act, the municipality shall proceed in the manner now provided by law for the exercise of the right of eminent domain by railroad corporations in this state. The fact that the property to be acquired by eminent domain proceedings was acquired by its owner by eminent domain proceedings shall not prevent its acquisition by such proceedings by the municipality. For the purpose of making surveys and examinations relative to any eminent domain proceedings, it shall be lawful to enter upon any land, doing no unnecessary damage.
