Contracts entered into for projects and activities of the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics relating to airport and air navigation facility construction, maintenance and repair shall be awarded using the competitive bidding process set forth in the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974. The Department may administer the competitive bidding process through the Department of Transportation rather than the Office of Management and Enterprise Services.
