Text

The purposes of the Hazardous Waste Fund Act are to: 1. Protect public health and safety, and the natural resources of the State of Oklahoma; 2. Provide for response to environmental emergencies and incidents; and 3. Establish a fund administered by the Department which will be available to monitor hazardous waste management facilities and to respond and assist municipalities and counties in responding to any emergency situation involving hazardous waste.
