Text

A.Prior to the day of the election, it shall be the duty of the secretary of the county election board to prepare for each precinct where an election is to be held in the county, a written or electronic precinct registry which shall contain information on all registered voters in the precinct as prescribed by the Secretary of the State Election Board. The information which is or would be contained in such a registry shall at all times be public information.
B.The Secretary of the State Election Board may authorize the use of electronic precinct registries by one or more county election boards. Subject to available funding, the Secretary may purchase any equipment and software necessary to implement an electronic precinct registry system. The Secretary shall promulgate rules as necessary
