Text
Immediately following the close of the filing period prescribed by law, the Secretary of the State Election Board shall determine the order in which the name of each candidate for each of the offices shall appear on the absentee ballots printed for the Primary Election. The determination shall be at a drawing conducted in a public meeting in which the names of all candidates for each office of each political party shall be drawn from a receptacle. In the event that a candidate withdraws or is removed from the ballot as a result of a successful contest of candidacy after the drawing is conducted, the withdrawn or removed candidate shall be deleted and the order of any remaining candidates in the race shall be adjusted accordingly.
