continue as members - Appointment of third member. The Chairman and Vice Chairman of the State Election Board on the effective date of this act shall continue to serve as members of the State Election Board representing their respective political parties until their successors are appointed and qualified. Within thirty (30) days after the effective date of this act, the Governor shall appoint the third member of the State Election Board in the manner prescribed for filling vacancies.
