As used in the Oklahoma Statutes: 1. "Geology" means the science which is: a. the study of the earth and its origin and history, in general, b. the investigation, including collection of specimens, of the earth's constituent rocks, minerals, fossils, solids, fluids including surface and underground waters, gases, and other materials, from the center of its core to the outer limits of its atmosphere, and c. the application and utilization of this knowledge of the earth for the benefit of mankind; provided, the knowledge and principles of geology may also be applied to extraterrestrial bodies; and 2. "Geologist" means a person who: a. has earned a baccalaureate or higher degree in a geological science from an institution of higher education which is accredited by a regional or national accre
