In proceedings before the court pursuant to Title 10A of the Oklahoma Statutes in which a child is alleged to be deprived, the court, after consideration and to ensure the safety of any child brought into state custody, may issue against the alleged perpetrator of abuse an emergency protective order pursuant to the Protection from Domestic Abuse Act at the emergency custody hearing or after a petition has been filed alleging that a child has been physically or sexually abused. The protective order shall remain in effect until the case has been dismissed or until further order of the court.
