Text

A.The first conviction of the crime of trafficking in children by any person shall be a felony and punishable by imprisonment in the custody of the Department of Corrections for not less than one (1) year nor for more than three (3) years.
B.Conviction of the crime of trafficking in children, subsequent to a prior conviction for such offense in any form, shall be a felony and punishable by imprisonment in the custody of the Department of Corrections for not less than three (3) years. No suspension of judgment or sentence shall be permitted.
C.Except for persons sentenced to life or life without parole, any person sentenced to imprisonment for two (2) years or more for a violation of this section shall be required to serve a term of post- imprisonment supervision pursuant to subparagraph
