delinquent, in need of supervision, or dependent and neglected - Penalty. Any person who knowingly and willfully: 1. Causes, aids, abets or encourages a minor to be, to remain or to become delinquent, in need of supervision or dependent and neglected, or 2. Omits the performance of any duty, which act or omission causes or tends to cause, aid, abet, or encourage any minor to be delinquent, in need of supervision or dependent and neglected, within the purview of the Oklahoma Children's Code or the Oklahoma Juvenile Code, upon conviction, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, as applicable, shall be punished pursuant to the provisions of Section 856, 858.1 or 858.2 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
