for consideration - Exceptions.
A.It shall be unlawful and deemed a Class D1 felony offense for any member of any board of county commissioners, city council or other governing body of any city, board of trustees of any town, board of directors of any township, board of education of any city or school district, to furnish, for a consideration any material or supplies for the use of the county, city, town, township, or school district.
B.The provisions of this section shall not apply to those municipal officers who are subject to Section 8-113 of Title 11 of the Oklahoma Statutes or to a member of any board of education of a school district in this state which does not include any part of a municipality with a population greater than two thousand five hundred (2,500) according to the late
