- Felony - Penalty. Every person who owns, possesses, keeps or trains any dog with the intent that such dog shall be engaged in an exhibition of fighting with another dog, upon conviction, shall be guilty of a Class B5 felony offense, punishable as provided in Section 1699.1 of this title.
