Text

Every person who, with intent to defraud, falsely makes, forges or alters, any entry in any book of records, or any instrument purporting to be any record or return specified in the last section; and any abstracter, his officer, agent or employee, who, with intent to defraud, falsely makes or alters any abstract entry or copy thereof in any material matter, is guilty of forgery in the second degree, a Class D1 felony offense.
