§ 2-8-41.9 — Inspection fee - Responsible parties.

A.An inspection fee at the rate of fifteen cents ($0.15) per ton shall be paid on commercial feeds and/or feed ingredients distributed in this state by the person whose name appears on the label as the manufacturer, guarantor, or distributor, except that a person other than the manufacturer, guarantor, or distributor may assume liability for the inspection fee, subject to the following: 1. No fee shall be paid on a commercial feed if the payment has been made by a previous distributor; 2. The minimum inspection fee shall be Ten Dollars ($10.00) semi-annually; 3. No fee shall be paid on commercial feeds or feed ingredients used in customer-formula feeds if the inspection fee has been previously paid on those ingredients; and 4.
