Text
A.The State Board of Agriculture shall be the official plant pest and disease control agency of the State of Oklahoma. The Board shall have authority to promulgate and enforce rules governing plant pests and plant protection, including quarantine.
B.In addition to other statutory authority, the state plant regulatory official, upon obtaining concurrence of the State Board of Agriculture, may issue emergency orders governing plants in order to protect the citizens and plants of the state from diseases and pests. The emergency order may: 1. Prohibit or impose conditions on importing plants or implements of husbandry into the state; 2. Require testing of pests or plants; 3. Require any treatment of pests or plants; 4. Prohibit or impose conditions on moving plants or implements of husbandry
