excepted. The purpose of the provisions of the Oklahoma Forestry Code relating to forest management is to encourage the practice of scientific forest management on all lands owned by the State of Oklahoma according to standards that shall manage, protect, utilize, and perpetuate suitable trees for their many benefits. The provisions of the Oklahoma Forestry Code shall not be construed to apply to state-owned land in wilderness areas.
