Repealed by Laws 2001, c. 208, § 6, emerg. eff. May 14, 2001. NOTE: Prior to repeal this section was amended by Laws 2001, c. 113, § 1, and renumbered from § 743 of this title by Laws 2001, c. 113, § 56, emerg. eff. April 18, 2001, to read as follows: If any fire, set as provided in Section 16-28 of this title, should by accident and without any fault or neglect of the person setting the fire, get beyond the person’s control, the person shall be liable as provided in Section 16-25 of this title for all damages done by the fire, but not otherwise. If the fire should by negligence, carelessness, or by intention be permitted to spread beyond the bounds of the land mentioned in Section 16-28 of this title, then the person setting the fire shall be liable both civilly and criminally as provided
