Text

When necessary for the enforcement of this article or rules promulgated pursuant thereto, the State Board of Agriculture may: 1. Issue stop-use, hold, and removal orders for any weights and measures commercially used, and issue stop-sale, hold, and removal orders for any packaged commodities or bulk commodities kept, offered, or exposed for sale; and 2. Seize for use as evidence any incorrect or unapproved weight, measure, package, or commodity used, retained, offered, or exposed for sale or sold in violation of this article or rules promulgated pursuant thereto.
