revenue bonds. As to general obligation bonds, it shall be the duty of the officers charged by law with the levying of taxes for county purposes to levy annually an amount sufficient to pay the interest due each year on the bonds issued hereunder and at the proper time, and in addition thereto, to levy an amount sufficient to pay part of the principal as the same becomes due. The board of control shall, at the written request of the board of county commissioners before the end of each fiscal year, file with the board of county commissioners a report of their proceedings with reference to such hospital, and shall also file a financial statement and estimate of needs, and shall at the proper time certify the amount necessary to maintain and improve said hospital for the ensuing year.
