When any such special election is called it shall be the duty of the Governor to select and commission one special election commissioner for each voting precinct or voting place in such county so holding such election as provided in this article. Every such commission shall be in writing and shall be signed by the Governor. Before any such special election commissioner shall assume the duties of his office he shall take and subscribe to the following oath: OATH. I, _________ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support, obey and defend the Constitution and laws of the State of Oklahoma, and will discharge the duties of my office with fidelity and to the best of my ability; that I am not now and have never been a resident of the County of ______, that I am not interested in any manner
