outside county - Deposits with State Treasurer. The State Auditor and Inspector, when examining the books and records of a county treasurer shall, in addition to his other duties, examine same with a view to ascertaining that the provisions of this act are being complied with, and it shall be the duty of said State Auditor and Inspector, if he shall find that the provisions of this act are being violated, to at once file a written report of such condition with the district attorney of said county. Provided, nothing in this act shall be construed to prohibit the county treasurer from depositing funds of the county in banks outside of the county when such bank shall give security in the amount and in the manner hereinbefore provided.
