Text
offices. The mayor shall be an ex officio member and chairman of the local board, the municipal clerk shall be ex officio secretary, and the municipal treasurer shall be ex officio treasurer of the local board. The mayor shall have a casting vote with the members only when necessary to avoid a tie vote among them. The members shall elect a vice chairman from among them and promulgate such other rules and offices as may be necessary to insure the orderly conduct of business.
