A.Every Urban Renewal Authority within the provisions of this article shall have all the powers necessary or convenient to carry out and effectuate the purposes and provisions of this article, including the following powers in addition to others herein granted: 1. To undertake and carry out the urban renewal projects within its area of operation and in accordance with any urban renewal plan adopted by the municipality; and to make and execute contracts and other instruments necessary or convenient to the exercise of its powers under this article; and to disseminate blight and urban renewal information; 2.
