§ 11-20-102 — Procedure for proposing ward changes.
Oklahoma·Title 11 Cities And Towns
A change in the name, boundaries, or number of wards in a municipality may be proposed at any time by: 1. a resolution of the municipal governing body; or 2. an initiative petition filed with the governing body of the municipality. Any change in the number or boundaries of wards shall be made with due regard to the equitable apportionment of the population and the convenience and contiguity of the wards.
