Election - Ordinance providing alternative procedure - Repeal of ordinance.

A.Except as otherwise provided in this act, Section 16-301 et seq. of this title, all municipalities with fewer than two thousand (2,000) residents, according to the latest Federal Decennial Census, that are not governed by charter, shall elect officers and consider questions raised by initiative or referendum, pursuant to Section 15-101 et seq. of this title, at biennial town meetings or special town meetings of the voters of each municipality as provided in this act.
