Text
of Governor - Election of officers. The secretary of the county election board shall, within five (5) days after the canvass of the returns of the election, certify to the Governor the results of the vote on the question. If a majority of the votes cast are in favor of revoking the charter, the Governor, within twenty (20) days after receiving the certification, shall issue a proclamation stating that the municipality has revoked its charter and adopted the statutory form of municipal government specified in the question. The proclamation of the Governor shall also direct the governing body of the municipality to divide the municipality into the number of wards required and to hold primary and general elections in the manner provided by the statutory form of government which has been adopt
