§ 11-13-103 — Election on question and board of freeholders.

The election on the question and board of freeholders shall be held at a general or special election to be held in the municipality within thirty (30) days after the order calling for the election. Notice of the election shall be given in the manner required for municipal elections. The question submitted to the registered voters of the municipality shall be substantially in the following form: Shall the _____ (City or Town) of _______ frame a charter for its own government? ( ) Yes. ( ) No. The board of freeholders, which is to be voted on in the same election, shall consist of two qualified electors from each ward in the municipality.
