of Human Services. If the court determines it would be in the best interests of a child, the court may place the child in the legal custody of the Department of Human Services. Whenever a child is in the custody of the Department, the court shall not have the authority to order a specific placement of the child but shall have the authority to approve or disapprove a specific placement if it does not conform to statutory requirements and the best interests of the child.
