A.
1.Upon the filing of the petition, the court shall schedule a hearing and shall issue a summons requiring the parents, legal guardian, custodian, the child if the child is twelve (12) or more years of age, and any other persons the court determines to be proper or necessary parties to the proceedings to appear personally before the court at the date, time, and place stated in the summons. The court may endorse upon the summons an order directing the parent, guardian, custodian, or other person having the physical custody or control of the child to bring the child to the hearing.
2.The summons shall be attached to a copy of the petition and shall advise the parties of the right to counsel, including the right of the child’s parent or legal guardian to court-appointed counsel if indigen
