On receipt of written notice under division (B) of section742.444of the Revised Code of a member's termination of active service, the Ohio police and fire pension fund shall request from the employer verification of the member's termination date and any other information the fund determines necessary to calculate and pay a pension under that division. The verification of termination shall be filed in accordance with section742.351of the Revised Code.
