Text

The board of trustees of a regional water and sewer district, by a vote of two-thirds of all its members, may declare by resolution that it is necessary to levy a tax in excess of the ten-mill limitation for the purpose of providing funds to pay current expenses of the district or for the purpose of paying any portion of the cost of one or more water resource projects or parts thereof or for both of such purposes, and that the question of such tax levy shall be submitted to the electors of the district at a general or primary election. Such resolution shall conform to the requirements of section5705.19of the Revised Code, except as otherwise permitted by this section and except that such levy may be for a period not longer than ten years.
