In addition to the exemption established under division (B)(4) of section6111.44of the Revised Code, sewerage or treatment works for the on-lot disposal or treatment of sewage from a small flow on-site sewage treatment system, as defined in section3718.01of the Revised Code, concerning which the board of health of a city or general health district has notified the director of health and the director of environmental protection under section3718.021of the Revised Code that the board has chosen to regulate the system are exempt from the administrative and permitting requirements established in this chapter and rules adopted under it and the fees established under section3745.11of the Revised Code, provided that the board remains in compliance with the rules adopted under division
